Giveaway: Limited Edition “I Run For Boston” tech shirt

in Running Life

After the tragic events at the 2013 Boston Marathon, the New York Road Runners started selling tech shirts to support the One Fund Boston.Being that I am a runner, grew up outside of Boston and ran the Boston Marathon in 2012, I felt personally touched by the events at the race this year and bought shirts for myself, my buddy Jake and of course, my wife. I wanted to do my part.

What I forgot when I was purchasing the shirts is that my wife’s shirt size is extra small.I bought her a small.

Oops.

My mistake is your advantage. I am giving one limited edition size small tech shirt to a reader of DirtyOldSneakers free of charge!* The only catch is that you need to fit into a size small, or give it to someone who can. According to the NYRR, dimensions of the shirt are: chest 40″, body length 28″, sleeve length 19″.

If you win and are so inclined, feel free to donate to the One Fund Boston yourself here (however, this is not required).

Use the form below to enter. All you need to do is “Like” DirtyOldSneakers on Facebook (www.facebook.com/DirtyOldSneakers), follow me on Twitter (@DirtyOldSneaker) or leave a comment on this post.

The deadline to enter is 12:00 AM EST May 14, 2013.

The winner will be chosen at random and will be notified via Facebook message, Twitter or email.UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who participated, I’ve chosen a winner at random through RaffleCopter and notified them.

*DoS Disclaimer: The New York Road Runners is not affiliated with this giveaway in any way. I purchased the shirt and will pay domestic shipping via first class mail. If you win and reside outside the 48 contiguous United States, you will be responsible for shipping costs and will have five days to provide payment, if you don’t I choose another winner.

  1. I followed on twitter and would love to win. It will hopefully fit me, but if not I swap race shirts with a friend when we get the wrong size, so I'd love to surprise her with this shirt (she's slightly bigger than me and got the world's smallest "Small" tech shirt at her last race).

  2. I almost bought this in SMALL – could be kismet! Thanks! (PS – I have a home depot card as a give away this week on my blog @ Erica Finds! Check it out!
