Race Video: The 2013 ING NYC Marathon

in Race Video

If you read this space, you already know that I ran the ING NYC Marathon for the 5th time in 2013. Since I’m also running the Philadelphia Marathon this year, my goal was between 3:55 and 4:00.

While I would have been thrilled to hit the finish at 3:55:00, I wound up crossing at 3:59:57 – how’s THAT for planning 🙂

At any rate, my secondary goal was the make a video from the marathon.

As I’ve been doing for almost a year, I carried my GoPro Hero 3 (Black Edition) camera with me to capture the spirit of the marathon – what I saw, and experienced along the  course.

I hope I was able to capture the essence of what I consider a 26.2 mile party.

The video was uploaded in 720 and meant to be viewed in full screen mode.

Special thanks to my buddy Jake who offered honest and smart critiques to my endless drafts and as always to my wife Denise, my forever co-producer and co-editor.
