Race Video: 2018 Popular Brooklyn Half

in Race Video

Last Saturday was cold and rainy with 15 MPH winds.

A day that I would have rather slept in that get up at 3AM to travel an hour on the train to then run 13.1 miles into colder, stronger winds and heavier rain, is an understatement.

But this wasn’t just any 13.1 race, this was the NYRR’s Popular Brooklyn Half, one of my absolute favorite races and the larges 13.1 in the country (maybe the world)!

I make a video of this race every year so  it’s a challenge to create something that is new and different every year when the course doesn’t change.

I think I nailed it this year.

I carried my GoPro Fusion, a 360 5K camera that offers me the ability to focus on different angles while I’m editing.

The video you’re about to watch isn’t in 360, I may still create one, but with a backlog of things to review and videos to create, I’ll have to be happy with one video from this race for now.

Let me know what you think!
